Country Living Made Possible.

Many people are scared to move to the countryside from the city because they are scared to loose the modern conveniences that they have grown accustomed to in the city. When you live in a city, large or small, there are many things assessable at your fingertips. For instance, it’s easy to hop in your car or walk to the grocery store to get food to make dinner. If you have a headache, there is usually a drug store nearby that sells medicine to cure the headache. When its cold out and you need a new warm hat, there are plenty of stores around with plenty of garments from which to choose. On the technology front, in the city people have lots of options available for Internet, TV and phone connections. People can choose from DSL, cable, dial-up and satellite broadband connections.

All of the above are much more limited when living in the countryside. People have to get in the car and drive much farther to get to the grocery store, go shopping for clothes, or go to the drug store. They also usually don’t have the option to have cable or DSL Internet connections because they aren’t in the vicinity of a phone center to have access to these services. Luckily, though, satellite Internet is available everywhere in the world and can offer connection speeds just as fast as cable and DSL. So when thinking about a move to the countryside from the city, people should not fret about losing the modern convenience of fast Internet connections. From the countryside, people can still upload and download files without having to worry about slow connection speeds. In the past, dial-up was the only option in more remote locations. So, when considering a move from the loud, bustling and crowded city out to the countryside, do not let the fear of a slow Internet connection deter you.

For instance, in rural parts of America, far from any major city, one can find farmhouses equipped with satellite Internet and TV. People living here enjoy a life free from the noise and pollution of the city. They can wake up and hear the birds chirping instead of car horns honking, can walk outside and breathe in the fresh country air instead of the exhaust from the cars driving by on the way to work, and eat breakfast made from fresh eggs instead of eggs from chickens raised in factories and kept in small cages. All the while, still being able to enjoy the same media and have access to the same information as people in the city. So if you’re longing for a life free of pollution, congestion, and noise, but afraid to loose all the modern conveniences of the city, think again. True, you will not be able to hop in the car and drive five minutes to the store or walk out the door to the convenience store, but you will still be able to have some of the modern luxuries of city living thanks to satellite broadband.
